The town has an attractive Jewish quarter, an impressive cathedral and several interesting museums. Girona’s cathedral, uphill from the river, can be seen from many points of the city. After walking through the old town you come to a wide stairway leading up to the cathedral. The cathedral has got a beautiful baroque façade and inside it has the widest Gothic nave in Europe. The cathedral is part of the town's historic and archaeological walk which runs along the old town, mostly atop of the city's ancient ramparts. The church of Sant Feliu is the second most important church in Girona, just a few steps away from the Cathedral. This church has a mix between Romanesque and Gothic styles and is dedicated to Saint Feliu, a Catalan saint and martyr.
