Florianopolis is located in the south of Brazil and it's the capital of the state of Santa Catarina. In Praça XV de Novembro we find the Velha Figueira, a hundred-year old tree considered the symbol of the city. Another important landmark of the city is Hercílio Luz Bridge that links the island to the mainland. Florianopolis is the place to go to enjoy some of Brazil's most beautiful beaches. Moreover, visitors will enjoy beautiful scenery, interesting culture and friendly people. For all of these reasons, Florianopolis has become one of the main tourist destination in Brazil.
