Day 1 - LONDON
Transfer from London Heathrow Airport to the hotel. Accommodation and breakfast at the President Hotel, Royal National Hotel, or similar.
Day 2 - LONDON
In the morning, we'll take a panoramic tour of London by bus, visiting the neighborhoods of Westminster, Kensington, Mayfair, and Belgravia. We'll stop to photograph the Houses of Parliament, Westminster Abbey, Big Ben, the London Eye, the Royal Albert Hall, and the Albert Memorial. We'll also have the opportunity to see the Changing of the Guard at Buckingham Palace (whenever it's open that day). We'll tour the West End (theater and restaurant district), Piccadilly Circus and Trafalgar Square, and iconic cultural areas such as the Natural History Museum, the Victoria & Albert Museum, the Science Museum, and the National Gallery. This tour will end at Buckingham Palace around 11:45 a.m., and you'll have the rest of the day free in London to discover more about this magnificent city. Day 3 - LONDON - OXFORD - STRATFORD - CHESTER - LIVERPOOL
We'll leave London heading northwest to the university city of Oxford, where we'll take a short walking tour to admire its magnificent colleges. Oxford University is not only highly prestigious, but also the oldest in the English-speaking world. From Oxford, we'll head to Stratford-Upon-Avon, a charming city on the banks of the River Avon and the birthplace of playwright William Shakespeare. In this beautiful town, we'll take a panoramic tour, stopping for lunch. We'll then continue north to the walled city of Chester for a walking tour. We'll depart for a panoramic tour of Liverpool, the birthplace of the most famous rock band: The Beatles, and European Capital of Culture in 2008. Liverpool is home to one of England's largest ports, with the famous Albert Dock area. Dinner, accommodation, and breakfast at the Delta by Marriott Liverpool City Centre Hotel, Mercure Liverpool Atlantic Tower Hotel, or similar.
Day 4 - LIVERPOOL - LAKE DISTRICT - GRETNA GREEN - GLASGOW
Our tour will take us northwest to the Lake District, once a source of inspiration for English poets and writers and now a paradise for nature lovers thanks to its wide variety of flora and fauna. Along Lake Grasmere, we'll cross the border into Scotland at Gretna Green (famous for its history of runaway weddings), where we'll have free time for lunch. We'll continue north and make a brief visit to Glasgow, the third largest city in the United Kingdom. You'll be captivated by its Victorian architecture and unique charm. Affectionately nicknamed "Glasvegas," this city offers a perfect blend of culture, shopping, dining, and nightlife. Accommodation and breakfast at the Sandman Signature Glasgow Hotel, Maldron Hotel, or similar.
Day 5 - GLASGOW - LOCH LOMOND - FORT WILLIAM - LAKE NESS - INVERNESS - HIGHLANDS
We'll leave Glasgow along the beautiful shores of Loch Lomond, Britain's largest lake by surface area. We'll then head into the Scottish Highlands, home to famous family clans. We'll pass through Crianlarich and arrive at Fort William, a picturesque town located at the foot of Ben Nevis, where we'll have free time for lunch. In the afternoon, we'll reach the famous Loch Ness in search of its ancestral guest, "Nessie." You can take a boat ride on Loch Ness (optional) and then visit the ruins of Urquhart Castle. We'll depart along the shores of the loch towards Inverness, the capital of the lands. Upon arrival, we'll take a panoramic tour to see the city's main attractions, such as Inverness Castle and its Cathedral. Dinner, accommodation, and breakfast will be provided at the Coylumbridge Hotel, Highlander Hotel, MacDonald Aviemore Hotel, Highland Hotel Aviemore, or a similar hotel in the area.
Day 6 - HIGHLANDS - PITLOCHRY - STIRLING - EDINBURGH
After breakfast, we'll head through mid-mountain scenery toward Pitlochry. There, we'll visit a whisky distillery, where we'll learn about the preparation method and taste Scotland's national drink. We'll continue our tour to Callander and Stirling, the site of one of the most important battles of the Wars of Independence between Scotland and England. The Battle of Stirling Bridge (made famous through the film Braveheart) in 1297 was William Wallace's greatest victory and made him the undisputed leader of the resistance against the English. We'll visit Stirling Castle, located on a rocky promontory with impressive views. Free time for lunch. We'll then continue to Edinburgh, where we'll take a panoramic tour of the city before arriving at the hotel. This evening, you'll have the opportunity to enjoy a Scottish dinner accompanied by traditional Scottish folklore (optional). Day 7 - EDINBURGH
Free day to enjoy the charming city of Edinburgh. You will have admission to Edinburgh Castle for independent visits. Main attractions include Holyrood Palace, St. Giles' Cathedral, the National Gallery of Scotland, and the Royal Yacht Britannia. Edinburgh is considered the second most visited city in the United Kingdom, after London, and has also been the seat of the Scottish Parliament since 1999. A visit to the medieval city with its bustling Royal Mile, so named because it was the mile Scottish kings traveled between Holyrood Palace and Edinburgh Castle, and the elegant Georgian city and its shopping street, Princes Street, with its gardens, are essential. Day 8 - EDINBURGH - JEDBURGH - DURHAM - YORK - HARROGATE
We'll leave Edinburgh to the south and travel through the rolling landscapes of the Lowlands to Jedburgh. This landscape was the scene of border battles, and we'll visit the remains of its impressive Augustinian Abbey. Our route will continue to the historic city of Durham, dominated by its magnificent cathedral, where we'll have free time for lunch. We'll continue to York. This beautiful city of Roman origin has a rich history linked to Vikings and Saxons. We'll have time for a short stroll through its charming streets and have the opportunity to see the exterior of the largest cathedral in Northern Europe. Dinner, overnight stay, and breakfast at the Crowne Plaza Harrogate, Cedar Court Hotel, Yorkshire, or similar.
Day 9 - HARROGATE - CAMBRIDGE - LONDON
Our route will take us south to the charming university city of Cambridge, which not only rivals Oxford in its education and sporting prowess, but also in its beauty and architectural richness. This is the quintessential university city where we can take a walking tour and admire architecture from different eras in the ancient University Colleges. The University was founded in 1209 and is the second oldest in the English-speaking world. Great minds such as Isaac Newton, Stephen Hawking, and Charles Darwin have passed through its halls. We will have free time for lunch and to stroll through its colleges and historic streets. From Cambridge, we return directly to London, arriving around 6:00 p.m. Accommodation and breakfast will be provided at the President Hotel, Royal National Hotel, or similar.
Day 10 - LONDON – BRUSSELS
From London, you will be picked up in the morning for an exciting journey across the English Channel, crossing the Channel Tunnel (an underwater tunnel that connects England with France) to the charming city of Brussels, Belgium. The journey can be made by Eurostar train or on our coach from London, always arriving in the heart of Brussels. This city is considered the Capital of Europe, the epicenter of the European Union, the headquarters of NATO and other important international organizations, consolidating it as a nerve center of global politics and diplomacy. We will take a brief tour of Brussels. We will contemplate the majestic Palace of Justice, admire the Place du Grand Sablon, see the famous Manneken Piss statue, and finally, enjoy the beautiful Place du Grand Sablon and the bustling life of its streets. Accommodation and breakfast at the Park Inn by Radisson, Radisson Brussels Midi, and Mercure Brussels Centro Midi.
Day 11 - BRUSSELS - GHENT - BRUGES
We'll have breakfast at our hotel. Afterward, we'll take a trip back in time and head to Ghent, the third largest city in Belgium. Ghent boasts the impressive Saint Bavo's Cathedral, a symbol of the city and home to Van Eyck's famous painting, "The Adoration of the Mystic Lamb." We'll also visit the Herb Quay, a port area that still retains the charm of the old guilds that made the city famous. We'll have time for lunch in Ghent. In the afternoon, we'll head to Bruges, known as the "Venice of the North." It is one of the best-preserved medieval cities in the world. We'll walk through its cobblestone streets, pass by the Basilica of the Holy Blood, which contains a relic of Christ's blood, visit the Market Square, and admire its picturesque canals. In the evening, enjoy the local cuisine and don't forget to savor some delicious Belgian chocolate. Accommodation and breakfast at the Novotel Bruges Centrum or similar.
Day 12 - BRUGES - ANTWERP - THE HAGUE
After breakfast, we'll board our coach and leave Bruges for Antwerp. Known as the "City of Diamonds," around 84% of the world's uncut diamonds pass through here. We'll make a brief stop at the "Grote Markt," Antwerp's central square, surrounded by impressive guild buildings and crowned by the majestic Cathedral of Our Lady. Afterward, we'll continue north to The Hague, the third most populous city in the Netherlands and seat of the Dutch government and parliament. In The Hague, we'll take a panoramic tour of this lively city, visiting some of its most iconic sites, such as the Binnenhof (seat of the Dutch Parliament), the Peace Palace, and the International Criminal Court. After this panoramic tour, we'll continue our journey to our final destination, Amsterdam. Accommodation and breakfast at the Leonardo Royal Amsterdam, Hampton by Hilton Amsterdam, or similar.
Day 13 - AMSTERDAM
We'll begin the day with a panoramic tour of Amsterdam, one of the most charming cities in the Netherlands. During the tour, we'll admire the famous Dam Square, the city's nerve center, surrounded by buildings and the majestic 17th-century Royal Palace, the official residence of the Dutch Royal Family. The colorful Flower Market, a sea of colors and aromas, is famous for its tulips and other fresh flowers. In the afternoon, we'll enjoy a relaxing cruise through Amsterdam's iconic canals, declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site. We'll sail through its narrow waterways and admire the beautiful gabled houses, historic bridges, and lively city life. The cruise will last approximately 1 hour and 30 minutes. After the cruise, we'll have free time to explore Amsterdam at our own pace. We recommend visiting one of the city's many museums, such as the Van Gogh Museum, the Rembrandt Museum, or the Anne Frank House.
